

ADVANCE SCOUT
Paul Cormier enters his second season as the advance scout for the Nets. Cormier is responsible for scouting the team’s upcoming opponents throughout the course of the season.
Cormier brings over 20 years of basketball experience to the Nets, most recently serving as an assistant coach for the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2006-07 season. Previously, he spent three seasons as an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics (2002- 06) following two seasons as the head scout for Boston.
Cormier’s coaching resume also includes seven seasons (1991-98) as head coach Fairfield University and seven seasons (1984-91) as head coach at Dartmouth College. He also served as an assistant coach at Villanova University (1980-84) and at Bentley College (1978-80). Cormier is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. He and his wife, Susan, have four sons.
