The Denver Nuggets took part in the 2008 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Nevada for the fifth-straight year. The 2008 Summer League was once again played at both the COX Pavilion and the Thomas & Mack Center on the UNLV campus from July 11-20. The Nuggets played five games during the competition, taking on the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors.
This year's summer league roster featured Nuggets guard Taurean Green, forward Bobby Jones and guard/forward Sonny Weems, the 39th overall pick from Arkansas, who was acquired by the Nuggets in a draft-night trade.
