During the past decade, the Detroit Pistons Dance Program has grown by leaps and bounds, by not only providing show-stopping performances but by reaching out in the community. As goodwill ambassadors for the Detroit Pistons, Automotion participates in numerous community events, including the award winning Read to Achieve program promoting literacy throughout the state of Michigan and their very own community service events supported by the proceeds from their calendar sales. Each year, Automotion makes over 400 community appearances.

Known as the "Hardest Workin' Dance Team in the NBA," their rigorous rehearsal schedule and intense training seminars leave very little down time for this talented group of ladies. Their commitment to excellence and tireless work ethic makes them strong role models for young women everywhere.
