Five Things to Know About the Pistons Drumline:
- The Pistons Drum Line partook in All-Star Festivities this year, when they battled the Dallas Mavericks Drum Line in Houston.
- In addition to their “drum off” against the Mavericks, the Pistons Drum Line played the introductions to the dunk contest and three-point contest, and was featured on TNT during the Celebrity game.
- The Pistons Drum Line is lead by Todd Ohme, who plays the tenor drums and won the 1998 I & E championship.
- Eight members of the Pistons Drum Line performed with Kid Rock on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” during Super Bowl week in Detroit.
- The Pistons Drum Line consists of current and former members of Michigan State University’s Drum Line.
