Throughout the year the Toronto Raptors make it a point to give back to their community in many ways.

DONATIONS:

The Raptors are committed to giving back to the community through donations of tickets and merchandise. In 2007-08, the Raptors Foundation donated more than 16,000 tickets to local charities, community groups and youth organizations who otherwise might not have had the opportunity to attend a Raptors game. The mass appeal of Raptors merchandise has been evident not only through team sales in retail outlets, but also through the number of charitable requests for Raptors memorabilia. During the ’07-08 season, the Raptors Foundation donated approximately $200,000 worth of autographed merchandise to over 850 charitable organizations throughout Ontario.

Charitable Donation Request Policy

GUIDELINES:

1. Donation requests must be received a minimum of four to six weeks prior to the event date.
2. All requests must be submitted in writing on the organization's letterhead and must include:
  a. specific date and location of the event
  b. organization's mandate/mission
  c. beneficiary of the proceeds
  d. a contact name, address, phone number - email (optional)
  e. Registered charity number

PLEASE NOTE: The Toronto Raptors Basketball Club does not accept items sent in to be autographed.

If your organization does not have letterhead, please enclose a letter of authentication from the recipient charitable organization(s).

If approved, all items donated are at the discretion of the Toronto Raptors Basketball Club.

RAPTORS PLAYER APPEARANCES:

Throughout the season our players assist with a variety of community relations, Raptors Foundation, and NBA-related initiatives, and, wherever possible are dedicated to supporting events in our community.

Guidelines:

Requests must be received in writing, 4-6 weeks in advance of your event, indicating date, time, location and any additional relevant information. If you would like to request an appearance by The Raptor mascot or Raptors Dance Pak, please click here

PLEASE NOTE: Player requests must contain a specific event and date in order to be considered and must take place during the regular season (November 2008-March 2009)
